Day 18 - 590km walked - Location: Coffs Harbour - Status: FIRST FULL DAY OFF!!!
590km... I KNOW!!! It sounds like alot... and it is hahaha... Over the last week we have seen such generosity from absolute stranges and met so many amazing people, I keep saying BUT IT KEEPS HAPPENING hahaha.
Ok just really quickly... a note about the walking sticks, they are not snow sticks we have heard every version of the joke "the snow is that way mate". It wasn't really that funny when we first heard it and time has not sweetened it hahaha.
On the left here is an article from the Port News, one of Port Macquarie's largest new papers and one of my favourite article about the walk so far. ... going in the scrap book.
Let me tell you about some of the amazing people we have met on this trip.

Day 15: Half Way - 520km walked - 2million people reached

Over 2 weeks in... Status: and they this would be hard... Fair call :D

It's been almost a week since our last blog and WHAT A WEEK! We've had sand dunes, walking, seen the great lakes, health issues and doctor trips, a 60km day, got a new trolly, lost the new trolly, walked, met a dozen amazing people (of whom I will tell you about), live and pre-recorded radio interviews, a million news paper articles, walking, some complimentary accommodation due to peoples generosity, got caught in the rain... And then walked some more. We have walked a total of 520km since Sydney which puts us over half way! We went through Tea Gardens, Hawks nest, mungo brush, bulahdelah, taree, coopernook, kew, kempsey, macksville and nambucca. Hehe try saying that fast.

This is just an update will write the full blog in coffs harbour in 2days!!!! Stay posted and send us your feedback! Check out steps 4 survival on facebook and Twitter.
